Our Little Princess' 3rd Birthday

We had 3 cakes for our little princess' 3rd birthday in January.

One for celebrating in school.

One for celebrating with my parents.

One for celebrating with my husband's family, which is captured in the layout below.

Can't believe how quickly these little cupcakes grow. Or rather, how fast time flies.

Supplies:
patterned papers, stickers, green twine, corrugated cardboard alphas: Jillibean Soup
'bliss' ticket: tim holtz
dewdrops: robin's nest
flower: prima
tattered leather glimmer mist: tattered angels
trinket pin: making memories

Catching Up

It's been a mad month with more challenging but exciting days ahead. Here're some layouts I did for the challenge blog 52 weeks52layouts.

This one was a challenge not to use patterned paper and some ric-rac. So I whipped out all my Imaginsce animal stamps and dug into my stash box to use up my old stuff. And of course, I couldn't leave out a Tim Holtz journaling ticket somewhere!

This one's a photo taken some time ago when we had a beach outing with some friends and their kids. Our boys go to the same school, have disagreements here and there but still share a common love for sand, surf and sea. Here I'm trying to use up my Jillibean Soup papers so I can buy the new ones when they hit my LSS!
